I’ve been snippy
Modern technology has granted us the ability to globally connect with people in a seamless way, better than before. Unfortunately, miscommunication is still abundant. I was told by my friend that my “tone” via text message is very pointed. I answered a question in a very “non-nonsense” and “snippy” way, when I meant to be a little bit sarcastic and flat.
After apologizing, I still felt a bit uncomfortable. I could always hit people with the (/srs) tone indicators, but I feel a bit weird using them all the time. I don’t want to come across as snippy and mean.
